Brett Murray
Assistant Choreographer
Brett trained at Laban Conservatoire for Contemporary dance and graduated with Hons 2:1. Whilst at Laban he worked with international choreographer Charles Linehan and Wayne Mcgregors Kerry Nicholls. He toured internationally with the piece Hearth, Choreographed by Kerry Nicholls and worked closely with the Dance council of Malta. Whilst at Laban he developed his choreographic side, gaining positive reviews for his graduate showcase. After graduating Brett joined A.D. Dance Company and has toured throughout the UK, including Liverpool MDI Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, Resolution! and Glastonbury Festival. Brett has recently been promoted to the role of Assistant Choreographer and is currently creating a work with the new company which will be toured next year.
Chandelle Allen
Rehearsal Director
Chandelle began training at eight years old. She subsequently attended the Legat School of Dance in East Sussex and studied Ballet and Contemporary. In 2008 Chandelle successfully completed the Laban BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre and in 2009 the Masters in Performance whilst touring internationally with Transitions Dance Company. Chandelle has been with AD Dance Company since 2009 and has recently been promoted to Rehearsal Director. During her time with the company she has also worked with Beyond Repair Dance, Flat Feet Dance Company, E-Dance Company, Big Beef Dance Theatre and as a Sadler’s Wells Dance Artist. Recently Chandelle has toured with renowned Tuba quartet YouTuba with their latest production ‘Tuba Bears Picnic’ and with AD Dance Company performed at Glastonbury and Exeter Festival.
Emma Fisher
Emma was born in Perth, Western Australia where she began her dance training before moving to Munich to study at Ballet Academy Munich – Heinz Bosl Stiftung. During her time in Munich Emma performed in Don Quixote, Giselle and Onegin as well as several pieces by Hans Van Manen, Jiri Kylian and Robert North. In 2008 she performed with the Bayerisches Staatsballett at the 20th anniversary of John Cranko's Romeo and Juliet. Emma moved to London in November 2010 to dance in the West End production of The Snowman before joining A.D. Dance Company in March. Since joining the company she has performed Slowly We Collide, Ternion, Soporose and Fawn ( all choreograped by Holly Noble) at the Actor's Church Covent Garden, Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, Exeter Fringe Festival and the King's Head Theater.
Rachel Louisa Maybank
Rachel began her training at the Lisa Maybank School of Dance in Kent. She was awarded a full scholarship to attend English National Ballet School and to Join London Studio Centres graduate year touring company Images of Dance. During this time she performed works by Christopher Wheeldon, George Balanchine and John Cranko.
Upon graduation Rachel joined Ballet Ireland for their production of Die Fledermaus the Ballet.
In 2007 she was invited to join New English Contemporary Ballet as an apprentice, shortly working her way to soloist. During her time with NECB she had the pleasure of working with and performing works by Richard Wherlock (Ballet Basel), Patrick Delcroix, Yuri Killion, Vanessa Fenton (Royal Ballet) Jaime Thomas and Davide Bombana created In C Sharp Minor on her.
After the closing of the company in early 2010 she moved back to London to perform Adriana Lecouvereur and Manon with the Royal Opera company, also touring to Tokyo.
Rachel has recently co-directed/choreographed with Joel Cottrell on his production of La Ronde for the Harbinger Company.
She has also choreographed two works for the Footprints Dance Company and for the Alternative Hair Show at The Royal Albert Hall.
Rachel joined A.D. Dance Company in February 2011.
Remi Laudat
Remi started his training at the West London School of Dance and completed his training at Central School of Ballet and with English National Ballet School Associates with a full scholarship. He toured with Ballet Central in 2011 performing in works by Darshan Singh Bhuller and Nellie Happee. In 2008 Remi performed in Le Corsaire with ProDanza at Le Gran Teatro in Havana and again in 2010 he performed Don Quixote with ProDanza.
In July Remi performed with Civic Ballet Bermuda performing in works by Pascal Rioult, Eric Bean Jr, Robert North and Coral Waddell.
He recently joined A.D. Dance Company and will be performing for the first time with them in November.
Oliver Wraith
Oliver trained at the Arts Educational School Tring Park and Elmhurst School for Dance graduating with a national diploma in professional dance and joined A.D. Dance Company in July. Oliver has previously worked with English National Ballet performing in the Christopher Hampsons nutcracker and Derek Deans Swan Lake, most recently Oliver has worked with the Birmingham Royal Ballet in Sir Peter Wrights Sleeping Beauty. Since joining A.D. Dance Company, Oliver has performed in the works Slowly We Collide & FAWN and performed at the Kings Head Theatre Islington and The Actors Church, Covent garden. Oliver has also created works for the Architects Association and hopes to choreograph further in the future.
